The boyfriend who can't handle alcohol so whenever you two are out, at an event or dinner with his group, he ends up taking care of you. Sannie who loves being praised for small things. He thives of being helpful for you. ESPECIALLY IF HE IS TALLER THAN YOU. He enjoys watching you while doing the most mundane things. He enjoys the smell that your parfume leaves in the bathroom, or the fog on the mirror. He enjoys seing your favorite colour next to his favorite colour when he's out shopping. Sends you pictures of it with "This is us" attatched to it. I don't feel like gift giving is is biggest love language. BUT i do think he's the type of guy to give you a pretty rock because he thought about you when he saw it.

Sannie who gets stressed and insecure easily. Reassurance is important in your relationship. As well as gentle reminders that you think he is the awesomest. Joking around with him when he's stressed is something that makes him let go of the tension in his shoulders. He loves just sinking into your warm touches at the end of the day. When he's touring or busy, he forces wooyoung to cuddle him while he wants to cry because you're not there. If you're an idol aswell, i believe San would cheer you on alot. He'd be so proud whenever he saw you absolutely devour the stage. You two might also write lyrics/poetry together.

Sannie who can be rough when it comes to being intimate. But when he's stressed, exhausted, sad or insecure, he definatly enjoys you being soft, praising him and a tiny bit of body worship. He likes having his hair played with and i have a feeling that his some of his sweet spots are his arms, neck and thighs/calfs?? I don't know. He likes recieving but also giving. hozier my man thank u for the anthems. Steve Rogers is always thought of as the mascot of America, a patriot and government symbol. He is NOT listening to America or any government. He wears the stars and stripes because he's what America should be, and every time people mischaracterize him as upholding the law. well the laws are unjust, and he'll never be afraid to point out the broken system. he's not fighting to protect the state he's fighting to protect the people. he's the ultimate leader and no he can not take orders to save his life. they are always trying to push him into that box, and it always back fires.

Okay, first off, I just wanna say, thank you so much to @spiderscribe for picking up my very loose scribble and taking the jump. She's an absolute champ, and I IMPLORE you to read her writing. She did a knockout job on the fic, and guaranteed, these two pieces wouldn't have been so elaborate without her. If you're a fan of deadceptor, parallels, lovers to enemies to apocalyptic teammates to ???s, I'm sure you'll find that and more in there.

The background for the supermarket was a MASSIVE undertaking. I ended up blurring it in the final to keep the dream-like quality, but there is a lot happening there! Most of the time I spent on the background was (jokingly) complaining though.

Anyone who works retail will know the agony of customer-misplaced stock. The little canisters of energon additives seem like prime candidates to be placed willy-nilly.

The little warning sign... My favorite soda, apple sidra, has a carcinogen warning, so I'm familiar with it. It was slightly surprising to me that those warnings are not countrywide, despite the fact that they very clearly say "California Proposition 65", and well. Not something else, like "Federal" or whatever.

The bags of nuts and bolts below, I asked several people what flavor they would be, and I suppose I failed in my job, because I wanted the purple to be the "regular" flavor, and the green to be the "sour". But grape and lemon-lime work as well!

The tub is full of rust-sticks. I have no idea if that came across. My friends kept calling the individually wrapped ones slim jims, which I mean, I guess!

The car batteries... My idea was that they were similar to shots, in a way? So that's how I ended up with a battery with enough terminals to rival an international airport. It's also sunset-coloured, because, I don't know, that's what Party Flavor is to me.

Okay. The second illustration. This one was a headache, mostly due to my own lack of planning, and the fact that I lost the file for... basically everything I did, including the above illustration. So it was a bit of a rush job.

The background bots started off as these very vague silhouettes, which I'm a little proud of. Look at how nice and somewhat readable they are! Okay, now what if I ruined it? What? You don't like that? That's rather unfortunate, because that's what I proceeded to do. In fact, if I take off all.. 10 or something adjustment layers, they look like this:

My process went: Shadow block> Fill rest of form> Color randomiser> Copy and skew (to populate background)> Hue adjustment> Gradient map> Fill Light> Chromatic aberration> Vignette> Levels> Curves.

The.... Magenta cube is there because due to the nature of the color randomiser, the foot had a high value, and stuck out like nobody's business in the end.

Here's what it would look like without the cube. Begone, distracting white blob! (I didn't have to worry about the lava arm because Percy happened to cover it up. What a save! But if he didn't then... there would have been a second cube.)

Basically, it was a mess. But... at least it came out fine in the end! I hope!

I'd love to have speedpaints on hand, but I was switching between CSP and PS for a good majority of the work.

I'd say that's it for these two pieces! I actually have more, but those demand more time. I'm much slower at doing inks than I am at painting, but I hope you'll get to see them soon.

I just wanted to tell you that I love idwtbamg and am especially blown away by the character designs for aika and zira!!!!!! their colour palettes compliment each other really well and are soft while still having some contrast and I would love to know how you came up with the designs or if you don't feel like sharing that, your favourite parts of their designs and what you're most proud of? Good luck with the pilot, by the way!!! ^^

Aw thank you so much! Character design was initially what I wanted to do when entering the industry so I love whenever I'm able to do it~

I talk about my process for picking colors here a bit!

Design process under the cut (loooong post ahead)

Whenever I'm designing a cast of characters I always start with the main character and build off of them. I started specifically with Aika's normal girl design. I wanted a star theme, and the star hair was the first thing I knew I needed. With her hair being the most eye catching and important part of her design, I wanted to make sure whatever else she had going on wasn't gonna distract from it too much. So I went for a more top heavy, but simple look with a big tshirt, small black pants. Aika was initially fully blonde but the stark black pants was starting to pull the eye. That gave me the idea to use the stark black in her hair (for the bottom half)! Made her hair even more eye catching and highlighted the star pigtails in a nice way.

For her magical girl design, I wanted to make it feel over the top and overwhelming to contribute visually why Aika wouldn't want to be a magical girl. Big poofy dress, ribbons poking out everywhere for a crazy silhouette and tall, tall platforms. I also wanted to give her longer hair in this form so I went with goddess locs! I was able to do an easy shorthand with it (long thick strands with lil curls at the end) I like the kinda biblically accurate angel look she has. My favorite part of this design was the ribbons in her hair that make the star pigtails look like shooting stars heehee

With Zira I knew I wanted her to be opposite to Aika. So sticking with the space thing, I gave her a moon motif and that was my jumping off point. With Aika having high pigtails, I decided to give Zira low pigtails and give them a vaguely crescent shape (like crescent moons get it?). Continuing with the opposites thing, I wanted to make Zira's design bottom heavy as opposed to Aika's top heavy one, and also color-wise, go on the opposite side of the color wheel from yellow for its complimentary color, purple! I didn't want Zira to feel too stylish (she's a loser after all) but also didn't wanna make her design ugly. I tried toeing the line of out of style but lowkey trendy with the grungy skirt, jeans combo. Also went with the stark black shirt under the tshirt to lean harder into the 2000s look. On top of that it helped tie her design to Aika's more (this is where I decided the stark black was gonna be an essential part of the design language of this show). My favorite part of her design for me is the mangled ends of her pants. It's a small detail but I think it says a lot about her as a character (she drags her feet, she's a little careless, kinda messy, etc.)

Hoshi is star. There's not much more to their design haha. I did give them wings to mirror Aika's dress ribbons. With their human design though, I just knew I wanted to make sure that they'd be able to make a star shape with their silhouette. Thus the hoodie and stubby limbs. Gave them the stark black pants (again at this point, it's part of the design language of this show). I tossed around the idea of giving them eyes that matched more with Aika and Zira, but it just didn't look like Hoshi so I stuck with the same face in their star design and I just thought that was funny hehe. My favorite part of Hoshi's design is just the overall fact that I managed to make them look like a star in their human form still haha

Eclipse was the hardest design for me. You would not believe how long it took me to decide whether I wanted to make him a boy or a girl. Eclipse was also gonna be named Void (and DeVoid was gonna be Eclipse) but it didn't feel quite right. I knew I wanted him to ALSO be opposite from Aika, but in a different way that Zira is. Looking at it that way helped me land on the name Eclipse because I thought it'd be fun to give both Zira and him moon motifs (as Aika's love interest and alleged love interest respectively). Similar to Zira I wanted to have purple be in his design to contrast the yellow in Aika's design. Due to his name now being Eclipse, I figured going dark with his design would make the most sense but my friend/roommie Bri @/ghostbri (who is a professional painter/color designer) suggested going pastel instead and it worked perfectly. It matched his personality and also plays on the fact that he cares more about theatrics and aesthetics than actual villainy. He completely misses the point of being the servant of darkness. He's heavily inspired by Tuxedo Mask. I wanted to make it feel like he saw a cool character once in a tv show and he decided to make it his whole persona. So he's got the suit, he's got the cape and he's got the mask. My favorite part of his design is his cape, intended to also have a crescent moon shape but then also have that stark black on the inside so his silhouette really pops against it. It's funny bc it ended up being like a reverse eclipse where the light is blocking out the dark.

DeVoid was the easiest for me to come up with the design for LMAO. Like obviously. I wanted to make her feel slick but prickly but also slightly over the top like a lot of old school magical girl villains. I thought it'd be a difficult balance to strike but it actually wasn't too bad! I gave her a sort of form fitting cocktail dress and at this point the stark black was a must so it worked out that the "void" character would just be in that all black look. It really helped her feel slick like I wanted (also gave her the slicked back hair for this reason). To give her some edge, I gave her the giant pointy shoulder pads, giant pointy horns, pointy ears, sharp nails and bat wings! Oh also worth mentioning she's the one main cast character I didn't use Aika as a jumping off point for. I designed her to look good next to Eclipse since they'd be the ones interacting the most. I made her wings white to contrast with her black dress (opposite to how Eclipse has a black cape but then mostly white outfit). To ensure that her design wasn't too dark and that her arms would read against her body, I gave her those bright silver bracelets~ While her design was easy for me to come up with, my god figuring out what color to make her hair was killing me. Tbh I was avoiding pink/red like the plague. I didn't want her to look toooo much like Jessie Team Rocket LOL. I tried white, I tried purple, I tried a more pastel pink but none of them worked well in a lineup with the rest of the characters. Bri helped talked me through all this haha. Pink/red worked the best especially there was no pink/red in the entire lineup. The Jessie influence is still there but I feel like she looks different enough! Favorite part of her design is her big ass horns)

Finally Miss! Miss was an interesting case because I designed her as I was storyboarding the pilot. She was intended to be an incidental character that we'd only randomly see once in a while. She had a veeery generic teacher design in my first pass but then as I was hiring VAs I got the idea to cast Michele Knotz to play her and that was enough for my brain to start going and come up with a backstory for her and a role that could tie in with the rest of the cast in a more meaningful way. Because of this, I designed Miss to the voice I imagined Michele would use for her. She does a great groggy and tired voice so I gave her those tired eyes, she has a darker color palette, her posture's a little more sluggish, etc. Her design still felt bland in the board so I gave her a couple piercings which helped. But then! The stark black! I gave her the half dyed hair which worked phenomenally and is probably my favorite part of her design. It leans into the tired feel (too tired to dye her roots) and also was a nice way to get the black in her design without just having to give her black pants or a black shirt or something. I'd only figured out her color palette way later and after recording Michele. The VA announcement image was the first time I'd fully drawn and colored Miss. I went with green since there was no green in the lineup! Also green's my favorite color so I had to.

Your head snapped up from your colourful breakfast of different fruits and yoghurts as Max walked through your hotel room door. You grinned as you watched him stride towards you, pull out the seat across from you and sit down.

"Ready for today?" He asked, his smile so kind. You couldn't help but wonder if he had ever looked at Charles like this, and if it had ever made Charles feel as bashful as it was making you feel.

As you ate a slice of apple coated in strawberry flavoured yoghurt, you nodded your head. You were ready for today, but you were still nervous. No matter what, you were going to make the team proud, going to make Charles proud.

You picked up an orange segment and bit down. The moment your teeth cut through the skin of the orange, you hit a seed.

Your eyes went wide and you spat out the half of an orange segment in your mouth. You pulled the seed from your mouth, desperately trying not to gag. But that was it, your breakfast was done. You wiped away tears that hadn't fallen and pushed your bowl across the table.

Max's smile turned sad as he stood from his seat and walked over to you. You tensed up when he raised his hand, but he simply pet your head. "I'm taking you to the track today, Birdy," he said as he combed his fingers through your hair.

"Not without this!" Your handler called as he stepped out of the room that had become your bedroom. From her finger your muzzle dangled, and Max let the smile drop from his face.

The fucking muzzle.

Releasing a growl of his own, Max snatched the muzzle from her fingers. "No," he barked and dropped it to the floor. You released a whine of your own, obeying that thing inside of you that pulled you closer to him.

Protection.

Safe.

Big.

Strong.

Max pulled you to your feet, still growling as he held you against his chest. Your whines matched his growls as you gripped his shirt, trying desperately to hide yourself away.

But the whistle cut through the air. Every werewolf in the building must have heard it, and you had no doubt it affected them as much as it affected you.

You and Max dropped to your knees, hands covering your ears as you tried to get away from the noise. Even when your handler pulled the dog whistle away from her lips, your body still shook, hands still on your ears and eyes squeezed shut.

She stepped over Max, much in the same state that you were, and picked up your muzzle from the floor. "I'm sorry, Beastie," she mumbled and pulled your hands away from your ears. Your body was still shaking as she put the muzzle around your mouth and pulled you to your feet. She pulled your hair over your shoulder, lips close to your ear as she whispered.

"Protect me from him," she whispered, a subtle edge to her words. She held up the small remote to your shock collar, thumb covering over the button.

You whimpered more. Breaths shuddering, Max stood up. His chest was heaving as he stared at you. No, not at you, at your handler, cowering behind you. "You said you were taking us to the track," she said as she continued to stare at Max over your shoulder.

If only you stepped to the side, Max would stare her limb from limb without hesitation. Heartless, terrible woman. He almost called you to his side, almost pulled you away from her, but he saw her thumb resting on the button of the shock collar.

He straightened himself up and marched out of the hotel room, leaving you and your handler to follow after him. She was walking too close to you to be comfortable, tripping both you and her up.

Most drivers were already at the track. You released a breath when you released that, when you released that nobody else had been affected by the whistle.

Your handler allowed you to follow Max around, the threat of the shock collar still there. No matter what, you were going to behave, she knew.

You followed after Max like a lost puppy, trailing after him wide eyes. When he stopped walking, you stopped, nose practically touching his back. The closer you stayed to Max, the calmer you became. The calmer you both became.

"Should we go and find Charles?" He asked, reaching for your muzzle.

You stepped out of his reach as you nodded your head. Max dropped his hand and gave a nod. "C'mon, Birdy," he said, hand touching your back as he gently pushed you towards the Ferrari garage.

You didn't mean to break into a run, didn't mean to collide with Charles. Maybe you had grown too comfortable with him too quickly, nearly knocking him over. He grabbed your elbows, steadying you. "Hi, Birdy Girl," he whispered, smiling fondly down at you.

He pushed your hair behind you ears, unable to see your grin behind your muzzle. He could see it in your eyes, though, and it was beautiful.

He looked past you as Max approached. He breathed in, the scent of Max surrounding you. Fuck, he loved it, he could have rolled in your combined scents all damn day.

Something was wrong, that was evident by the smell Max was letting off. But he shook his head before Charles could ask. They would talk about it later, and Charles agreed.

He let you go, let you disappear into your drivers room to get ready. Everything but pull your helmet on, not with your collar and muzzle in the way.

"Her handler is a fucking bitch," Max said, seething. "She used a fucking dog whistle on us," he growled, still clearly seething.

"Both of you?" Charles asked through a gasp, unable to stop himself from touching Max's chest. You and Max. She hurt both of you. He sucked in a breath, pushed his anger down.

He let go of Max. "What else happened?" He asked, taking a step away from Max. No longer too close for comfort. "In general, I mean."

"She likes fruit," Max said quietly, scratching at the back of his neck. "And she responded when I growled, Charles! She has at least some pack instincts."

Charles smiled to himself. "She's like you, Max. Remember when you had only limited pack instincts?"

Max gave a nod, but there you were. You strode towards them in your fireproofs, overalls hanging low on your hips with your helmet tucked under your arm. "Come here" Charles called and took your helmet from you.

He shoved it into Max's hands and turned you around. Charles worked to undo your muzzle. He pulled it from your face and shoved it into his pocket. Your shock collar ended up on the floor, crushed beneath Charles's shoe.

Turning you back around, Charles pushed your helmet onto your head. He didn't fasten it, just left it on your face. "Let me know if you want us to take it off," he whispered and tucked you under his arm.

You didn't know if they could hear your purrs, you didn't care. If your helmet wasn't in the way, you would have been nuzzling against him like a cat.

"Birdy."

You looked up at Max, helmet hitting Charles's chin. If it hurt him, he made no indication.

"Travel home with us," he offered. "Just the three of us on my private jet."

You pushed your helmet from your head and handed it to Charles. As soon as you were free from it, you ran to Max, nuzzling yourself against his chest as you held him.

Max wrapped his arms around you. "I wish you would talk to us, Birdy," he whispered and you tightened your grip on him.

When your handler came over, Max held you tighter. But you stepped out of his grip and pulled your helmet back onto your head.

"Where's your muzzle, Beastie?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest and shaking her head.

"I must have dropped it," Charles said, shrugging his shoulders. You lowered your visor to hide your expression. "And her shock collar," he said, kicking the pieces towards her.

Her expression soured. But she shook her head, controlling her emotions. "Come on, Beastie. Let's get you in the car."

Before you could walk away, Max grabbed your hand. "I'll see you after the race, Birdy," he whispered and let you go.
